Complete a Quick Order (Birdie)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Enter Birdie App on your device.
2. On the Navigation Tabs at the top left, click, and select Quick Order.
3. Select a product group.
4. Select a product.
- If the product has modifiers, a single item will be added to your cart and you will be redirected to the product details screen. Here you can change the quantity, notes, and modifiers for that product. When finished, click back.
- If the product has no modifiers, a single item will be added to your cart.
5. To select more than one product, click the product again.
6. If you wish to edit an order item in your cart, simply click the item and the product details screen will appear.
7. When all desired products have been added to the cart, click the green ‘pay’ button.
8. Choose the payment method by clicking the appropriate tab at the top of the screen
9. Enter the appropriate amount of payment:
- If the customer is only paying using one method of payment, the amount owed will auto-fill, you simply need to tap the green button at the bottom right of the screen
- If the customer is splitting payment, enter the amount of first payment, tap the green button, then switch to the next payment method, and hit the green button
10. When an order is completely paid for, the receipt screen will appear and the customer receipt will print. If the customer paid with a credit card or a customer charge, have the customer sign their copy and save this receipt for later.
