Moving a Quick Order to an Existing Open Tab (Birdie)
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Enter Birdie App on your device.
2. On the Navigation Tabs at the top left, click, and select Quick Order (Q.O.) in the Restaurant section.
3. Select the products the customer wants, to the Q.O. and hit the green "Pay". *
4. The customer/server realizes the customer already has a tab open from earlier in the day and would like this Q.O. moved to their Open Tab.
5. In the Pay screen, hit the "Move to Tab +" button. The Tabs page will now show and you can add the open Q.O. to the customers Open Tab. **
6. When the Open Tab has been selected, the Q.O. products will now show on the Tab. Hit the back button or continue to the Payment process to close the customer out.
NOTE:
*You can add a customer to the Q.O. page or after you hit the Pay button.
** When moving a Quick Order to an existing Open Tab, the first Tab you select will get the Q.O. There is an alert when you transition to the Tabs page noting this.
